Since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, the P90 machine gun has been an ever-reliable option for gamers. While not quite on the level of MP5, this classic Call of Duty weapon is more than capable of taking out enemies all over Verdansk.
With the inclusion of Black Ops Cold War, however, the P90 took a back seat compared to other SMGs. This trend remained in season 2, as the increasing use of the Mac-10 and Lc10 took over this class of weapons. However, the P90 still deserves a place in your kit and it can perform even better than other SMGs in the class with the right loadout.
The biggest selling point of the P90 is its magazine size as it boasts more bullets than most other SMGs in Modern Warfare or Black Ops Cold War. In the base charger they are present as many as 50 bullets, which means that players don’t necessarily have to waste a slot to modify ammo.
In addition to the charger, the P90 has decent stats across the board. Its accuracy, damage, and rate of fire are all standard for the SMG class. This gives gamers some freedom when designing the loadout. However, there is specific equipment which high-profile players and streamers made great use of in Warzone Season 2.
There he is:
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Cane: Forge Tac Retribution
Viewfinder: GI Mini Reflex
Laser: Tac Laser
Under the barrel: Stippled Grip Tape
The first two accessories for the P90 loadout, the Monolithic Suppresor and the Forge Tac Retribution rod, are used solely to increase damage and reduce recoil. Also, the suppressor keeps players off the radar when firing, which is always a bonus.
Subsequently, Laser Tac and Stippled Grip are great for helping players in close range firefights. The laser helps with non-aiming fire and basic accuracy, while the grip tape allows you to pick up the weapon faster.
Finally, the GI Mini Reflex is the optics that most players choose to use, as it is not too invasive. The P90 doesn’t perform at its best at long range, so a multi-level zoom lens is not needed. Ultimately though, this slot is more of a personal preference.
