Spearhead Studios, the game development arm of online gambling group EveryMatrix, has signed an online casino content distribution agreement with major technology company Playtech.
As part of the recently signed agreement, Spearhead Studios’ full portfolio of game titles will soon be available to Playtech’s network of operating partners through Playtech’s game marketplace.
Established in Fall 2019, Spearhead Studios specializes in developing and supplying online slots and table games for operators serving regulated markets. The iGaming study currently has more than 35 titles and its portfolio continues to grow steadily.
Spearhead Studios is currently working with more than 100 online casino operators in various jurisdictions in Europe and Latin America. Most recently, its range of games launched in the UK. The company will also launch soon in the US and other regulated territories.
Additionally, their games are available through various top-notch casino content aggregators, including Microgaming, ORYX Gaming, and United Remote, among others.
News about the studio’s partnership with Playtech comes days after it released its first video poker title – Jacks or Better. The new version offers optimized gameplay for mobile portraits and an excellent user experience. Its RTP stands at 99.54%. It offers players the opportunity to play with 5, 10, 25, 50 or even 100 hands with the possibility of obtaining up to € 400,000 in profit for bets of € 5 per hand.
A statement of the quality of the content
Commenting on their latest partnership, Spearhead Studios Managing Director Mathias Larsson said that Playtech is a household name in the iGaming world with an extensive network of clients in the world’s major regulated markets.
Mr. Larsson added that making his games available on the Playtech game market is “A statement of our quality content” and that they are very excited to begin their partnership with the industry’s leading provider.
Playtech Casino Director James Frendo said their focus is to always offer world-class online casino software to their operating partners and that the integration of Spearhead Studios content into their “Growing portfolio” marked another step in helping its members “deliver the best possible casino experience for their players.”
This is the latest in a series of big announcements made by Playtech in recent weeks. Last month, the company ventured further into the Swiss iGaming market through a content supply agreement with Casinò Lugano, the oldest gaming establishment in the lucrative region of Italy and Switzerland.
It was again in March that Playtech revealed that it had secured a long-term lease for its Michigan’s first live casino study and the United States as a whole. The studio will feature the company’s advanced live casino technology and reflect the video capabilities of its flagship live casino facility in Riga.
