PokerGO has decided to establish its brand as the standard in High Stakes poker tournaments, and to do so it has just introduced the PokerGO Tour, “the first global professional poker ranking”, which will include more than 150 tournaments throughout the planet, starting with all the classics organized by the production company.

This new classification, or, circuit, was born with a solid structure based on pillars such as the collaboration signed with the Global Poker Index to serve as a platform and partner in the next triennium of the Global Poker Awards, and a calendar that represents the excellence of the high buy-in tournaments and has confirmed a couple of new additions that will delight the High Rollers.

In the official statement, the new president Mori eskandani makes clear its ambition to establish itself as the reference in the world of high stakes tournaments.

“The sport of poker is hundreds of years old and, until now, there has not been a globally recognized circuit and rankings system that establishes and celebrates the world’s elite players, so we started something that we hope will evolve. and grow. The PokerGo Tour will feature the most challenging high-stakes events on the planet, taking poker to the forefront of the sports world like never before. “

The already confirmed festivals that the PokerGO Tour will continue with are a mix of new editions of the most recognizable Poker Go tournaments and some surprises in the form of new dates such as the Heads-Up Championship.

US Poker Open 2021

From June 3 to June 14, at the Poker Go studio in the Aria. It will consist of 12 events, and this year the Eagle Trophy debuts to recognize its champion.

PokerGO Cup

From July 1 to 10. New festival, with a main event with a buy-in of $ 100,000.

PokerGO® Heads-Up Championship

July 12. It will put into play a purse of $ 3.2M, with 32 places available to specialists who want to play in the playoff format.

Poker Masters

Scheduled from September 13 to 24, with 12 events. The festival that delivers the purple jacket returns.

Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB)

The jewel in the crown of PokerGO. It starts on September 26 and will cost $ 300,000.

Other tournaments, such as Aria’s High Rollers and new festivals organized by the production company will complete a menu of 150 tournaments that will count towards the final classification. The PokerGo Tour will use an algorithm that takes into account the ranking, the field and the buy-in of each tournament to award points to players who enter prizes in their events.

The general will have financial rewards for its first three classified, $ 100,000, $ 50,000, and $ 25,000, respectively.

PokerGO has presented the first provisional ranking of the PokerGO Tour, and Sergi Reixach debuts in 17th place , boosted by his victory in the Aria’s $ 10k High Roller on March 7 and the subsequent podium obtained on April 1 in another $ 10K tournament at this recurring Las Vegas casino festival. Sergio Aido, who accompanied Sergi in these festivals and did a couple of ITMs, is the 24th.

The first provisional leaders of the PokerGO Tour are, of course, Ali Imsirovic and Sean Perry, who made headlines for playing three consecutive heads-ups in the last batch of Aria’s High Rollers – the first of them, the one that left Sergi Reixach out in third position.

This weekend the high buy-in tournaments are back at the casino where PokerGo has its studio, and the first moves on the list will take place.

Mark your calendars

The High Roller action will continue at @ARIAPoker with two $ 10k buy-in, and two $ 25k buy-in tournaments scheduled for May 5 to 8.
