Forbes Announces Five-Star Accreditations for Melco Resorts and Wynn Resorts

Melco Resorts & Entertainment has owned and operated The Morpheus Hotel since it opened in 2018. This week, the facility received five-star accreditation from Forbes.

The magazine published its list of the 63rd annual issue of 283 five-star hotels. Melco and Wynn Resorts account for 11 of the properties.

The Melco properties that received the top ranking are City of Dreams, Morpheus, Star Tower and Altira in Macao, as well as City of Dreams Manila in the Philippines.

Lawrence Ho, the billionaire founder and CEO of Melco, expressed his excitement at receiving the important recognition from the Forbes Travel Guide.

He added: “We thank our team for their dedication – and for helping establish Melco as a leading operator of integrated complexes.”

Even more Wynn Resorts properties received recognition from Forbes. This includes your four hotels in Las Vegas – Wynn Las Vegas, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Wynn Tower Suites and Encore Tower Suites. The company’s holdings in Macau – Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace also received the highest rating.

Other five-star facilities in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is currently home to a total of six five-star hotels. All four Wynn properties are joined by MGM Resorts’ ARIA Sky Suites and Skylofts at MGM Grand. The five-star sponsorships received two other complexes integrated into the entertainment city of Manila – Okada and Solaire.

Crown Resorts casino hotels in Melbourne and Perth also received recognition, as did Resorts World Genting in Malaysia.

It’s easy to see that the world’s largest casino operator, Las Vegas Sands, is excluded from the list of five-star facilities. The company’s properties in Las Vegas, Macau and Singapore did not make the list. Although the latter is regarded as the gold standard of the integrated complex industry, it only received a Four Star recognition in the Forbes rankings.

During the qualification process, Forbes had the pleasure of spending two nights and three days at each hotel inspected. They posed as regular guests They paid their way.

During their stay, Forbes representatives reviewed 900 items of each stay at the hotel.

They expected everything from whether the room was comfortable enough to ensure good sleep, to healthy food and drink, and the quality of the interior design.

The Forbes Travel Guide takes into account various components of a guest’s experience. However, according to number contributor Jennifer Kester, the service it is still the most important part of the evaluation.

He added: “It is more important than ever that properties show the utmost respect for the well-being of their guests.”
