€ 10 million guaranteed at PokerStars SECOOP 2020

They are already in the lobby of PokerStars all the events that make up the 3rd edition of the Southern Europe Championship of Online Poker (SECOOP).

The festival will start on Sunday October 25, and will finish the November 15. His program consists of 183 events, who will leave with a guaranteed total of 10 million euros.

In the calendar we can see that there will be tournaments for all budgets, since their prices will range from € 5 to € 250 (the maximum buy-in allowed by law in Spain).

Among the tournaments, the Main Event, which will have a buy-in of € 250 and a guaranteed 1 million euros.

Apart from the ME, there will be 3 € 200k guaranteed tournaments: the Sunday Specials on October 25 and November 1, and the 50 Special on November 15. The Sunday Warm-Up will be guaranteed € 125k, as will the € 50 PKO.

Regarding the modalities, there will only be 2 PL Omaha events (€ 125 and € 250 entry), with guarantees of € 10k and € 20k respectively. The rest of the tournaments will be NL Hold’em, but with multiple variants: PKO, Ultra KO, SuperStack, BigStack, DeepStack, Rebuy, Big Ante, Turbo, Hyper-Turbo …

PokerStars is preparing an extensive program of online satellites, of different prices. In addition, it has enabled SECOOP Spins, from € 12.50 buy-in, which will deliver tickets to the Main Event. Further, Players who deposit € 25 or more with the code “SECOOP20” between October 26 and November 7 will receive a ticket to participate in a freeroll that will deliver 100 € 250 tickets to the Main Event.

In 2018, the first edition of SECOOP had a program consisting of 149 events and a little over 10 million euros guaranteed. They finally delivered € 12,291,303 in prizes, with 343,298 total records. The Main Event had a prize pool of € 1,212,487, of which € 172,451 went to the winner, the Dutch “Befuddeld”.

In 2019, the second edition had a program of 148 events and 10 million guaranteed. They delivered € 11,662,807 in prizes. The Main Event had a prize pool of € 1,000,000 (guaranteed) and was won by the Portuguese “otup-sajief” (€ 115,055.97).
