Activision has announced the official release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Two with a new cinematic trailer. The season will start on Thursday 25 February and the trailer anticipated a lot of content. Season 2 is the second iteration of the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone integration. While the games are still separate, some Black Ops Cold War content is progressively made available to Warzone players. This includes new weapons, a new battle pass, and other cosmetic customization packs.

The cinematic trailer is set in Laos, a country in Southeast Asia, where i protagonists are sent to prevent agents from dispersing the Nova 6 gas and save Adler, who has been captured. It is not clear how important it will be the role that this activity will have in the second season. However, in the first season, Activision introduced the “The Pines” map based on that season’s story. If the publisher plans to repeat itself, Black Ops Cold War could receive a new map set in Laos. In addition to a possible new location, the trailer shows many new weapons. While none have been confirmed for Season 2 yet, Activision is known for giving a taste of the upcoming weapons in its trailers.
So far, four weapons have been spotted inside the trailer, including the crossbow, the Galil, the mini-pistol and the AI-LC10 machine gun. You can see some snapshots of the new weapons below.
As for the other content, a new operator was unveiled in the trailer. This character appears to be called “Naga” and it is assumed that it will be premium content within the Season 2 Battle Pass.
