After the final farewell to Overwatch Tommaso Gavioli, aka “joYnt”, is totally dedicated to VALORANT, the Riot Games tactical shooter, starting to lead different teams thanks to the enormous experience accumulated over the years. A decidedly uncomplicated transition for him with a very substantial investment in terms of resources. Today the announcement of his new adventure with the organization of Entropiq, a company based in the Czech Republic, already known especially in the FPS and FIFA world. Born just a year ago, in January 2020, it has a history similar to that of QLASH: the CEO and founder is in fact Martin Kabrhel, a professional poker player. It already boasts numerous and important sponsors such as Puma and Mc Donald’s and relies heavily on multimedia content to promote the organization’s activities.
Coach joYnt has led both teams in his Overwatch background, among the most important the Samsung Morning Stars in Italy and Europe and the GroundZero in Australia, both within their respective Overwatch Contenders, but also the Italian national team 2019. In June 2020, the definitive abandonment of the Blizzard title and the landing on VALORANT , just out, with the immediate entry into the Pingu Gang as Head Coach.

Then the meeting with the Entropiq and the construction of a roster that can really compete with the best. He is not, by the way, the only survivor of Overwatch. Together with him in the Entropiq there will in fact also be two ex-professional players of the Overwatch League, the highest competitive circuit in the world: it is Damien “HYP” Souville, French, ex-support of Paris Eternal and the French national team, comes from the adventure on VALORANT with the Ninjas in Pajamas, ready to take on the role of agent Breach; is Thyme “Taimou” Kettunen, main Sova and ex-support of Dallas Fuel, known in the Overwatch environment for his aim with MCree.
Entropiq will be a decidedly varied roster, even if as a nationality France is in charge. In addition to HYP there will be two other French players, both from the Counter-Strike: GO scene: Romain “VlaDéDé” Mieudonnet, ex-player of the Purple Cobras with whom he played in the final stages of the European First Strike, who will have the role of smoker; is Tom “APO” Bonnion, sentinel role, ex-player of one of the strongest French teams of the last competitive period, the Cave Canem. The Czech closes the roster Charles “Twisten” Ašenbrener, coming instead from Rainbow Six Siege, ex-Esuba. Coach joYnt and Entropiq believed and believe so much in this boy that they paid the Esuba player card to ensure his performance.
This is not the first Entropiq adventure on VALORANT. During 2020 they had focused on two different rosters, one national and one more European. However, given the unsatisfactory results, the organization decided to start completely from scratch, focusing on a single competitive project. Under the guidance of Gavioli the auditions to find the right players for each role lasted three weeks: the goal was not to take the best at all costs, but those who managed to show the best balance between individual mechanical skills and group synergies. , fundamental in a title like VALORANT.
In a few days the start of the VALORANT professional competitive season. In the meantime, players and staff are already in Prague in the organization’s gaming house, between training and studying strategies to be implemented. Led by an Italian: good luck joYnt!
