Riot Games’ tactical shooter continues its determined path in Italy with a view to growing the national scene and promoting its title even more. After the numerous tournaments organized in 2020, especially in the second half of the year, VALORANT now acquires a different dimension of growth in Italy, entrusted in partnership to ProGaming Italia, one of the main esports realities in our country. Already licensee of the ESL brands in Italy, ProGaming will be in charge of providing direct coverage of the VALORANT Champion’s Tour throughout 2021 as official broadcast partner of Riot Games. Italian streams, covering all three levels of competition of the VALORANT Champion’s Tour, started on February 4th. The next broadcasts will be the Challenger Series from February 18-21 and March 4-7, broadcast on the dedicated Twitch channel.
ProGaming Italia also sets itself the goal of creating a sustainable and increasingly professional ecosystem for players, fans and teams, thanks to the strategic collaboration signed with Freaks 4U Gaming, marketing agency and pillar in the gaming and esports sector based in Berlin, for the development of Agent’s Range in Italy. Coming in March, Agent’s Range will be the reference hub for the Italian community and VALORANT fans, offering full coverage on the game’s latest news, producing exclusive editorial content, original and high-quality videos, as well as a platform that it will ensure perfect integration for sponsors and partners within the gaming landscape.
“We are pleased to have found in ProGaming Italia and Freaks4U Gaming key partners to bring the VALORANT Esport show to Italian players in their language and we are sure that the final product will live up to everyone’s expectations. This is just one of the collaborations we will have with ProGaming Italia and, more generally, the first of many new initiatives in the area that will see Riot Games at the forefront to ensure our players the best possible experience and the Italian market more attention which, we hope, will also help its growth. “ – Carlo Barone, Brand Manager Italia Riot Games.
Maurizio Cassano responded enthusiastically to Barone, Esports Director of ProGaming Italia: “We are grateful to Riot Games for choosing us as the official channel for this international adventure. 2020 has shown clear signs of VALORANT’s potential at a competitive level, but it will be 2021 that will see the consolidation of the title and where the whole ecosystem will take on an even greater dimension. ProGaming Italia is thrilled to be part of it and – thanks to the collaboration with a recognized and solid esports agency such as Freaks4U Gaming – we are confident that Agent’s Range will quickly become the place of the Italian VALORANT community. “
Sören von Sebelin was also satisfied, Head of Product Management at Freaks 4U Gaming: “With the entry of an incredible team like ProGaming into the growing VALORANT ecosystem, we at Freaks are thrilled to be part of this development to bring the best value to RIOT fans and players in Italy. Together, we can make the Agent’s Range brand shine and flourish and excite the Italian audience for a sustainable community. I can’t wait to see Agent’s Range Italy and Germany grow thanks to our cooperation and synergy. “
V.ALORANT is preparing to gain more and more space on the Italian scene, both as esports and as daily content. Available from March onwards in all its forms on Agent’s Range.
